And onwards to the Autumn Term…

We are currently contacting schools to check that they are happy for lessons to recommence this term. Once we have heard from your school we will be in touch to let you know their decision and arrangements for your child’s lessons.

Lessons in schools will not, however, start until week commencing 14 September 2020 to allow schools to settle into new routines. We anticipate that lessons will be held in the following weeks on your child’s previous lesson day (these are the MONDAYS of each week when lessons will occur):

14, 21, 28 September, 5, 12 October

Half Term

2, 9, 16, 25 November, 7 December

Christmas holidays

Parents

Please see our ‘For Parents‘ page for details of online video lessons for existing and new West Country School Music pupils. Here is our Risk Assessment Addendum for Covid.

We also have an updated Info Leaflet 2020 Covid. Please read this if you are interested in your child starting music lessons with us. Please note that it may not be possible to start lessons immediately as we have to assess the capacity of our provision in each school with existing pupils so that we know how much capacity is available for new pupils.

Please bear with us!
