Lockdown 2 – 3/11/2020 – Lessons in school to continue
Guidance from Devon Music Education Hub tells us that music lessons in school may continue during Lockdown 2. This is unless Head Teachers or Governors decide otherwise.
You’ve all been doing really well this term remembering instruments and music for lessons – keep it up; it really helps!
We anticipate that lessons will be held in the following weeks on your child’s previous lesson day (these are the MONDAYS of each week when lessons will occur):
14, 21, 28 September, 5, 12 October
2, 9, 16, 25 November, 7 December
We also have an updated Info Leaflet 2020 Covid. Please read this if you are interested in your child starting music lessons with us. Please note that it may not be possible to start lessons immediately as we have to assess the capacity of our provision in each school with existing pupils so that we know how much capacity is available for new pupils.
Please bear with us!
Adult learners wanting to start lessons
If you have a musical instrument which you have always intended to learn to play now could be the opportunity you have been waiting for!
Our teachers are experienced in teaching beginners of all ages and are now teaching via private internet video. This is easy to set up. All you need is a computer with a camera and microphone – these can be built-in or external.
If you would like to chat about how this might work for you, please acll our office on 07740 117227 and we’ll do our best to help.
